Pleasant Grove and The Ghosts of Main Street.

As a believer in the supernatural, I have to admit as much as I want to, I've never had the experience of ghosts or anything similar. Maybe I might have heard something…or felt something…but who knows? Recently, the wife and I went on a ghostly walking tour through the older city of Pleasant Grove, just south of us. Our tour guide had plenty of stories of recent and historic happenings that could be contributed to ghostly apparitions. Phantom whistling, footsteps, knocking, all the “normal” signs of a haunting.

Our tour guide mentioned an experience she had at her house. Hearing 3 knocking sounds on her window in the night. 3 knocks again. No one there.

The 3 knocks, 3 sounds or anything out of the ordinary in 3’s, from what I learned from the Catholic Exorcists, is an entity or demon mocking the holy Trinity. Always in 3 for the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. I'm not religious in anyway. BUT, I do find the original battle between good and evil very interesting.

We went into the basement of an Antique shop where some paranormal events have happened. It was dark and stale in the basement. That smell of dust and old fabric. While down there, it was pretty eerie, and I might've felt something grab me by the arm from behind. Not sure.

While exploring one haunted area of the print shop, there was a bathroom that had apparitions of children. I had a chance to take a lantern and look inside the bathroom. The bathroom was not fully enclosed. The walls but no ceiling. But even the walls weren't enclosed, they were just the studs and the inners of the drywall from the other side. It was a creepy indoor outhouse. As I turned to leave, the lantern went out. The whole group stood there in complete dark and hurried to get a light on. The other attendees quickly had their cellphone flashlights out and we got the lantern working again. But, we all had wondered if there was a spirit teasing us or just an unfortunate loss of light due to a bad battery.
